Prayer for Relief from Adversaries

*Psalm 70, repeats Psalm 40:13-17.
*Psalm 70, shows the urgency of David.
*In Psalm 70, David ask for God to deliver him from his enemies and to punish his enemies. David praises God for deliverance.
Verse 1:
David is in a state of urgency in his prayer. David was needing God to deliver him from his enemies.
Verse 2:
David is asking God to make his enemies ashamed for attacking him, because he was one of God's righteous one's.
Verse 3:
David's enemies were rejoicing at his calamity and distress. David wanted his enemies to pay for what they had done to him. David was asking God to pay them back, who do wrong to God's righteous one's.
Verse 4:
David is encouraging the people to praise the Lord God. The praise of the Lord God should never cease from the lips of His righteous one's. The Lord God should be praised from our lips, and from the lives we live.
Verse 5:
David praises God fro coming to his rescue.
*We need to do as David did, and cry out to God to help us. We must praise God for coming to help us. We should praise the Lord before, during, and after He delivers us.
