Humility Before the Lord

*"Humility", means the state of being humble.
*"Humble", means not proud or haughty; not arrogant or assertive; being submissive to the Lord.
*"Submissive", It means to give up your free will and rights to be led by God.
*Psalm 131, is an intensely personal song of humility by David.
*Psalm 131, is David's declaration of humility/being humble, trust, and his call to Israel to hope in the Lord.

Because David was humble before the Lord, the Lord gave him grace and mercy.
Verse 2:
David has been taught to trust in the Lord to supply all his needs.
Verse 3:
David exhorts the people of Israel to "hope" in the Lord and to wait on Him. "Hope", in biblical thought means knowing for certain that God will do it.
